BurnRescue is a WonderWork charity program to address severe burn injuries in children in the poorest parts of the world.  All information contained on this website, such as text, graphics, logos, button icons, audio clips, writings, images, and photographs is copyrighted by and proprietary to WonderWork, Inc., and may not be copied, reproduced, transmitted, displayed, performed, distributed, sublicensed, altered, stored for subsequent use, or otherwise used in whole or in part in any manner without WonderWork’s prior written consent.

Trademarks: The WonderWork name, the WonderWork logo, and all similar intellectual property are registered service marks of WonderWork, Inc. BurnRescue Life-changing surgeries for severely burned children is a trademark of WonderWork, Inc.

Jurisdiction: This website is controlled by WonderWork, Inc., which is headquartered in the State of New York, United States of America. By accessing this website both you and WonderWork agree that the statutes and laws of the State of New York, without regard to conflicts of law principles thereof, will apply to all matters arising from or relating to the use of this website. You and WonderWork also agree and hereby submit to the exclusive personal jurisdiction and venue of the courts of New York, New York, and the United States District Court for the Southern district of New York with respect to such matters.

Privacy Policy

WonderWork, Inc. (WonderWork) has created this Privacy Policy to explain how we will protect your personal privacy within our Web site. The following discloses our information gathering and dissemination practices for the Web site located at the URL www.burnrescue.org.  WonderWork reserves the right at any time and without notice to change this Privacy Policy.

What Information We Collect and How We Use That Information:
We collect two types of information, Standard Web server traffic pattern information, and information collected through our registration forms. Standard web server traffic pattern information is comprised of general traffic, site usage, and length of stay information which is collected and stored in log files. This type of information is shared externally, if at all, only on an aggregated basis. Our registration forms require users to give us contact information that may include name, email address, format preference (HTML vs. Text), address, interests, and similar information. We use this information to contact you should there be a question about your donation and we also use this information to personalize communications to you to keep you informed about our programs and progress and to seek public support. If you do not wish to receive these communications, or if you would like to change the frequency or types of communications you receive from us, simply write to us at 411 Fifth Avenue, Suite 702, New York, NY 10016, and we will be pleased to respect your wishes. We do not request or store sensitive information from our visitors, such as credit card or social security numbers.

Internet Protocol Address:
We collect an IP address from all visitors to our Site. An IP address is a number that is automatically assigned to your computer when you use the Internet. We use IP addresses to help diagnose problems with our server, administer our Site, analyze trends, track users’ movement, gather broad demographic information for aggregate use in order for us to improve the site, and deliver customized, personalized content. IP addresses are not linked to personally identifiable information.

Use of “Cookies”:
Our Site may use cookies to enhance your experience while using our Site. Cookies are pieces of information that some Web sites transfer to the computer that is browsing that Web site and are used for record-keeping purposes at many Web sites. Your Options:
We respect your privacy and allow you to restrict internal and external sharing of your personal information. We recognize that you may wish to limit the ways in which we contact you and we offer the following options:

  4. Do not share my contact information with other organizations.
  5. Do not contact me with fundraising requests supporting Wonderwork.

If you contact us with an opt-out request, all reasonable efforts will be taken to ensure that you will not receive any of the selected communications from us in the future. If you do not wish to opt out at this time, you may do so at a later date should you so desire.
